Hello everyone! This is Stebs from Quarter Productions. I recently had the chance to follow a good friend and talented butcher  Vadim Akimenko while he cut up a pig. This pig came to him cleaned and bled so there isn’t much gore in this, just the piecing out of parts. I attempted to make the piece – however disturbing – reflect the passion, dedication, and artistry that goes into being a professional butcher. I focused a lot on the emotion and physical motions of the process, as well as documenting some of the onlookers as Vadim took to his work. I hope that you enjoy the piece and don’t necessarily view it as a butchering video, but more of a video about a butcher.
